A Top-Rated Residential Roof Replacement Contractor

Top-Rated Residential Roof Replacement Contractor Southeastern MA

Depending on your roof’s materials, it could last anywhere between 12 years and hundreds. Most of us are going to need to replace our roofs at some point. Whether that’s from ordinary wear and tear, old age, or even extreme damage from a storm, your roof is going to decline eventually. The experienced team at Beantown Home Improvements in Southeastern MA is ready to give you a newer, more modern roof and bring your home back to its former glory.

When Is It Time to Have Your Roof Replaced?

Sometimes, a good quality repair is all you need to extend the life of your current roof. But other times, patching is just making the integrity of your roof decline faster and you need to invest in a new one. The factors below can give you an indication of when it might be time to install a new roof.

Water Leaks

Water damage in your home can cause massive problems. If you see dark spots or stains on your ceiling, that’s a sign that your roof isn’t doing its job. A single, small leak can usually be repaired, but if your roof is letting in water from multiple areas, you must take care of the problem and replace your roof as soon as possible.

Missing or Damaged Shingles

Missing or damaged shingles are a sign that your roof might need to be replaced. As we all know, the weather in the Massachusetts area can often be unpredictable. Not only can storms contribute to lost shingles, but they can also leave you with complete parts of your roof missing. If you notice missing or damaged shingles, call the Beantown Home Improvements team immediately.

The Age of Your Roof

Different roofing materials are meant to last different amounts of time (with the proper maintenance of course). For example, asphalt shingle roofs last up to 20 years and tile roofs can last up to 50 years. And if a strong storm hits, you may need a replacement roof even sooner. How old is your roof? If its life expectancy is coming to a close, you might want to think about calling us to take a look.

What is the difference between a roof repair and a roof replacement?

Even though these both sound similar, they are very different. Roof repair means fixing one or two small problems, like a leak, with patching. A complete roof replacement means removing your old roof and installing a brand new one.

Do the roofers need to come inside?
Usually not. When we work on your home, we can typically make all preparations and complete the work without coming inside. This means we won’t disturb your family’s activities.
Will I need to replace my gutters if I get my roof replaced?
This will depend on how your gutters were installed. Even if we have to temporarily remove the gutters, we can usually put them back on. However, a new roof is a great time to upgrade your current gutters because this prevents them from being damaged during the roofing process.

As homeowners in Massachusetts ourselves, we understand the importance of a solid and secure roof. We also understand that the decision to replace your roof is a big one, so we are happy to answer all your questions and guide you through the process.

Contact us today for a free roof inspection and we will send out one of our top contractors to take a look at your roof.

We had Beantown come to repair an area on the roof near the flashing around the chimney. Upon inspection they found another small area that had some rotting due to water, in most cases you would think a huge headache but not with Beantown. … More They were able to obtain the extra supplies they needed and do this repair all in the same day for an affordable and very fair price!! We also had them install a ridge vent and we couldn’t be more happy. Beantown offers reliable, honest and great quality work. I also was overly impressed with how Jim and Eli took the time to share their knowledge and explain everything so you could really understand how everything worked and appreciate the quality of it. Will definitely use Beantown again in the future!! Call them! You won’t be disappointed!!

Beantown installed a new roof, 2 skylights & gutter guards onto our raised ranch. We couldn’t ask for better results! After receiving 5 estimates from different companies, Beantown was selected due to the products offered, stellar … More reviews, & overall price. The project manager, Derek Straughn, took lots of time explaining all the products & steps that would be taken on the day of installation. He offered loads of necessary information as well as being a good listener to our needs & pocketbook! The total job was impressively completed in one day! The crew stayed focused & professional the entire day! Clean up was impeccable!

My husband and I hired Beantown Home Improvements to redesign our front porch and extend our roof to cover it and also reshingle our entire roof. We are both extremely happy with the work. Everyone we've talked to says it looks like … More the new work has always been there. Jim was extremely responsive to all of our questions and concerns and both crews (the construction crew and the roofing crew) were extremely professional. The project start date was unfortunately delayed a few times, but it was well worth the wait and, once the work started, easy to see why - the crews care far more about doing the work right than doing it fast, and that's a tradeoff we'd take any day.
